Trace-element fertiliser
The trace elements in Micromix are indispensable for a large number of biological processes. Trace-element deficiency shows immediately as malfunctioning vital functions and appears on young leaves, because trace elements cannot be moved within the plant. In addition, reused soil loses many trace elements; when reusing soil, topping up the trace-element balance is a must. Plants directly absorb all the food-grade minerals in Micromix, giving you better control over your plants.
What is Micromix?
Micromix is a combination of trace elements. Contains: 0.36% Fe (HEEDTA iron). 0.08% Mn (manganese EDTA). 0.4% B (boron monohydrate). 0.09% Zn (zinc EDTA) and 0.06% Mo (sodium molybdate).
A 1:1000 dose of Micromix raises the totals of
- Fe by 100 µmol
- Mn by 25 µmol
- B by 140 µmol
- Zn by 16 µmol
- Mo by 5 µmol
Tips
- If plants show deficiencies of other trace elements, you can apply just the Micromix component, via the roots or leaves. To help plants recover quickly from nutrient deficiency
- Micromix contains all the necessary chelated trace elements, directly absorbable and available to plants at any irrigation-water pH
- Trace elements are mostly present in outdoor fields and potting soils, but not fully available. Using Micromix ensures exact amounts of trace elements to keep plant physiology running at a higher level, for more consistent and higher yields
- To build a custom feeding schedule: use Micromix to decide exactly how much trace element you give your crop
- Single nutrients can be used for outdoor growing. After testing the soil and (irrigation) water, single nutrients let you adjust the nutrition to ensure enough available nutrients
How to use Micromix?
- Apply Micromix when deficiencies occur and when reusing potting soil
- Micromix can be mixed with all fertilisers, stimulators, minerals, all-purpose products and substrates
- Micromix can be used in irrigation.
