Warranties & returns policy

GroHo Garden prides itself on providing Products of the highest quality and is committed to customer satisfaction. This Website Warranties & Returns Policy describes the warranties we provide and how we manage product returns.

Words and phrases in this policy have the same meaning as in our Website Terms of Service. If you would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Warranties

Our team of horticulturists and engineers meticulously design our system to last for the long haul in all weather conditions, and more importantly – keep your plants growing for a long, long time. But if something goes wrong, we’ve got your back.

Subject to the exceptions below, we warrant that our GroHo Garden units will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the unit. Please note that this lifetime warranty only applies to the GroHo Garden unit itself. It does not apply to any accessories, add-ons and additional materials such as pumps and timers, grow cups, grow plugs and nutrients. For these items, the warranty from the manufacturer will apply.

We warrant that all Products not covered by our lifetime warranty above will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship on the same terms and conditions including the period of warranty as the warranties provided by the manufacturer of the Products.

Exceptions

The warranties in this Warranties & Return Policy will not apply where, in our opinion, the damage or defect arose due to:

Your use of any accessories including consumables, hardware and/or equipment which were not manufactured by or approved in writing by us;

Any contamination or leakages caused or induced by you;

Any modification, alteration or repair to the Products by you or third parties;

Use of the Products outside of their physical, mechanical, electrical or environmental specifications;

Failure to follow any instructions or manuals we provide;

Use of the products outside of their intended use;

Use of the products after a defect or damage became apparent;

Inadequate or improper maintenance.

Refunds

If you have placed an order with us and wish to retract your order for any reason – even if you simply change your mind – we will provide you with a full refund, provided that we receive notice of the cancellation of your order before we have begun processing your order. If we have already started processing your order, then we are unable to provide any refund.

Refunds will not be available in any other circumstances. If you are not satisfied with any item that you receive from us, you may be entitled to return that item to us in accordance with the below.

Returns

Replacement or credit as remedy

If you are not satisfied with any item that you receive from us, please let us know as soon as possible as we may be able to replace the item for you. In some circumstances, we may provide a credit instead of replacement at our discretion.

What you must return to us

To receive a replacement or credit, you must first return the item to us along with its original packaging. We reserve the right to inspect and test any Products returned for the purpose of determining the extent of any defect and validity of any warranty claim.

If the item is returned within 60 days 

If you are not satisfied with an item and we receive the returned item, or written notice from you that you will be returning the item, within the first 60 days after the earlier of the date of purchase and the date of delivery to you, we will provide a full refund, replacement, or credit. 

No refund, replacement, or credit will be provided if we consider that the item is not in the original condition provided to you. We still may, however, choose to provide a replacement or credit in some cases at our discretion.

Returning items after the first 60 days 

If you believe an item is faulty or defective, and we do not receive the returned item, or written notice from you that you will be returning the item, within the first 60 days after the earlier of the date of purchase and the date of delivery to you, then, subject to any Non-Excludable Condition, we will assess the circumstances (including analysing the returned item if considered appropriate by us) to ascertain whether or not we are at fault and:

(Company at fault) if we consider that we are at fault, we may, at our discretion, provide a full replacement of the returned item or a credit;

or (Company not at fault) if we consider that we are not at fault, then no replacement or credit will be provided. We still may, however, choose to provide a replacement or credit in some cases at our discretion.

Shipping costs

In all cases, you must pay the costs involved in shipping the returned product back to us. If we consider that we are not at fault in any circumstance, then no reimbursement in respect of those shipping costs will be provided. If we consider that we are at fault, then we will reimburse you for your reasonable shipping costs incurred in returning the product to us.
