What is a net pot for?

The net pot is the component that connects the plant to the hydroponic system. It holds the support substrate (phenolic foam, rockwool or expanded clay) with the rooted seedling:

• Secures the plant in the hole of the NFT channel or the lid of the aeroponic system
• Lets the nutrient solution circulate around the roots
• Promotes root oxygenation — the mesh lets air and solution through at the same time
• Makes transplanting easy — remove and replace without damaging the roots
• Reusable — wash, sterilise and use again in the next growing cycle

How to use the net pot — step by step

• Put substrate (phenolic foam, rockwool or expanded clay) in the pot
• Insert the rooted seedling into the substrate
• Fit the pot into the hole of the 80 mm hydroponic channel
• Switch on the system — the nutrient solution flows around the roots through the mesh
