PRODUCT DETAILS
The PH55 pH and temperature meter is a waterproof IP67 digital pocket meter with a large two-line LCD display showing pH and temperature (°C or °F).
The PH55 pH and temperature meter measures with automatic temperature compensation over an extended pH range of -2.0 to 16.0 and simultaneously displays temperature from -5.0 °C to 105.0 °C or from 23.0 °F to 221 °F.
Functionality
The PH55 pH and temperature meter has:
- Automatic two-point calibration (pH 7.01 - pH 4.01 / 10.01)
- 1 replaceable pH probe and auto shut-off that saves the batteries when the instrument is not in use
- The double-junction electrode is replaced simply and quickly
- The modular design allows easy replacement of batteries and electrodes.
The PH55 pH and temperature meter is ideal for field measurements in sectors such as hydroponics, aquariums, fish farming, swimming pools, water treatment, laboratories and education.
Operation
- Remove the protective cap
- Switch on the PH55 by pressing the ON / OFF button
- Immerse the electrode in the liquid to be measured
- The PH55 automatically compensates for temperature
- To switch off the meter, press the ON / OFF / CAL button.
Calibration
- Press the ON / OFF / CAL button until the OFF message is replaced by the CAL message. The meter is in calibration mode and, with the message “pH7.01 use”, asks to be immersed in the pH 7.01 calibration liquid. The meter will show "OK" and ask you to immerse it in pH 4.01 solution. Once immersed in pH 4.01 solution, after a few seconds it will show "OK2", meaning it is calibrated at 2 points.
