🛠️ Care and Maintenance

pH probe: the two main points that need attention are the glass bulb and the reference junction. The bulb loses sensitivity over time and the junction can clog if the probe is left to dry out.

Proper storage

• Never store the probe in tap water or deionised water
• Use MA9015 storage solution or calibration buffers
• Keep the probe with the cap filled with solution and always upright to avoid leaks

Regular cleaning

• Organic residues from samples can affect performance
• It is recommended to soak the probe regularly in MA9016 cleaning solution

Calibration

• Calibrate frequently to maintain accuracy
• Always calibrate after long periods of inactivity or after cleaning
• Use the Milwaukee PH-Main maintenance kit to keep the electrode in good condition
