Milwaukee Combo Meter pH / EC / Temp – MW803

Operating the pH / EC / TDS / Temp meter

• Remove the protective cap
• Switch on the MW803 by pressing the ON / OFF button
• Immerse the electrode in the liquid to be measured. The MW803 automatically compensates for temperature in pH / EC / TDS
• To switch off the meter, press the ON / OFF / CAL button.

Measurement

• To choose pH, EC (µS) or TDS (ppm) measurement mode, press the SET HOLD key to move from one parameter to another.
• Once the measurement parameter has been chosen, measure by immersing the electrode in two cm of the liquid to be measured
• To measure another parameter, keep using the SET HOLD key.

Calibration:

• To calibrate, switch on the meter, select the parameter to be calibrated with the SET HOLD key (pH, µS or ppm) and press the ON / OFF / CAL button until the OFF message is replaced by the CAL message.
• The meter is in calibration mode for the chosen parameter.
• The message “pH7.01 use” appears on the screen, asking for it to be immersed in the pH 7.01 calibration liquid
• The meter will show "OK" and ask you to immerse it in pH 4.01 solution
• Once immersed in the pH 4.01 solution, after a few seconds it will show "OK2", meaning it is calibrated at 2 points, and it will automatically return to pH measuring mode.

EC calibration (µS)

• The message “1413µS” appears on the screen, asking you to immerse it in 1413 µS calibration solution
• The meter will show “OK” once calibrated and will automatically return to EC measurement mode.

TDS calibration (ppm)

• The message “1382ppm” appears on the screen, asking for it to be immersed in 1382 ppm calibration liquid
• The meter will show "OK" once calibrated and will automatically return to TDS measurement mode.

Replacing the electrode

Unscrew the white ring, remove the Mi60P electrode and replace it with a new one, taking care not to damage the connections and not forgetting to fit the black rubber on the new electrode.

IMPORTANT for the MW803 pH / EC / TDS / Temp combo meter: never use distilled or deionised water as a storage liquid; Do not use 90° alcohol
