Milwaukee Combo Meter pH / EC / TDS / Temp – MW805

The MW805 4-in-1 pH/EC/TDS/Temp meter lets you measure pH, EC (conductivity), TDS and temperature with a single meter and a single probe.

pH and conductivity are critical for growers, especially in hydroponics. pH can affect the uptake of nutrients and water by plants and reduce nutrient efficiency. Managing conductivity helps growers identify nutrient deficiencies and excesses in their crops.

The MW805 Combo Meter lets you test pH, conductivity and total dissolved solids (TDS) easily and accurately using a single meter and an integrated probe.

CARE AND USE

The MW805 High Range Combo Meter includes a pH and EC sensor on the MA852D/1 amplified probe. Both need maintenance. Proper maintenance of your probe will give fast, accurate results for longer. All pH sensors have a limited lifespan and response time increases with age. EC sensors are more robust, but can still be affected by residue build-up.

Here are our top four tips

• Store with the cap filled with buffer or storage solution, not water
• Clean your probe regularly by soaking it in a cleaning solution
• Calibrate after cleaning and/or storage before testing to adjust for changes in the pH and EC sensor
• Gently stir the probe in the sample to get a faster result.
