The EC 5000 µS calibration solution serves as a calibration, storage and cleaning liquid.

Calibration, cleaning and storage solutions are essential for using your meters correctly. Beyond getting the most out of it, the electrode also lasts longer and works more efficiently.

To calibrate manually, switch on the meter, place the meter or electrode in the liquid, stir gently to help the reading, and use the calibration screwdriver or wheel (depending on the model) to adjust the reading on the display to the value shown on the pack. For automatic calibration with the EC 5000 µS standard, follow the instructions in the meter’s manual. How you calibrate depends on the type of meter.
