How it works

• Remove the black cap and switch on the meter
• Immerse up to the limit mark and wait for the reading to stabilise
• After use, rinse the electrode in water to keep it clean
• Preserve the electrode by putting a few drops of MA9015 storage liquid or pH 7.0 calibration liquid in the cap
• Put the cap back on after use
• DO NOT USE distilled or deionised water for storage
• Large differences in readings (± 0.5 pH) may be due to the need for calibration, a dry electrode or weak batteries

Calibrating the pH meter

• Buy calibration solution here
• Immerse the electrode up to the limit mark in pH 7.01 calibration liquid (M10007)
• Wait for the reading to stabilise and adjust to pH 7.0 with the screwdriver on the screw at the back
• The meter is calibrated.
• ALWAYS USE fresh calibration solutions

Maintenance

• Check that the electrode is clean
• To do this, rinse the electrode in tap water after each use
• To remove dirt, lightly brush the glass bulb and clean the strip with a soft brush
• In addition, every 3 months it is a good idea to give the pH electrode of the pH600 meter a short 24-hour bath in a cleaning liquid
• Battery replacement: when the pH 600 meter will not switch on or the display fades, open the compartment and replace the 3 x 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity.
