EC Meter CD611

The CD611 economy EC meter measures electrical conductivity (EC) and is an easy-to-use, low-cost instrument for quickly measuring accurate EC values.

It is used in sectors such as hydroponics, water treatment, fish farming and agriculture, among others.

Operating the meter

Remove the black cap and switch on the meter with the ON / OFF button located on top.

• Immerse up to the limit mark and wait for the reading to stabilise
• The meter automatically compensates for temperature variations
• After use, rinse the electrode in water to keep it clean
• The value shown on the screen must be multiplied by 100 to give a direct reading in mS/cm

Calibration

• Buy calibration solution here
• The calibration procedure is simple and quick
• Immerse the meter up to the limit mark in the EC calibration liquid (M10031)
• Wait for the reading to stabilise and, with the screwdriver on the screw
• Adjust to 1.4 (multiplied by 100 gives an EC of 1413)
• The meter is calibrated

Replacing the batteries

When the EC meter will not switch on or the display fades, open the battery compartment and replace the 4 x 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity.

The batteries can only be replaced correctly using those specified in the manual.
