PRODUCT DETAILS
The Milwaukee MC810 MAX Meter automatically monitors and displays pH, TDS (total dissolved solids) and temperature levels. Simply calibrate the parameters and let the Milwaukee MAX Monitor do the rest.
The MC810 MAX Meter is ideal for anyone who needs to know pH and nutrient levels continuously, 24 hours a day. It is widely used in nutrient tanks, hydroponic systems and aquariums.
Advantages of the Milwaukee MAX pH/TDS/Temp
🎯 Accuracy
- ±0.2 pH accuracy with manual two-point calibration
- ±2% full-scale accuracy for TDS
- ±0.3 °C (±0.5 °F) accuracy for temperature
⚙️ Automation
- Simply calibrate the parameters and leave the equipment monitoring 24/7
Design features
- Fast, easy-to-read results with 3 illuminated digital LCD screens
- Measuring range: 0.0 to 12.0 pH, with high accuracy
- External EC to TDS (ppm) conversion with a conversion factor of 0.5 or 0.7, via a button
- Simple manual calibration: 2 points for pH and 1 point for TDS, with easy-adjust trimmers
- MA911B/2 laboratory-grade pH electrode, gel-filled with double junction – low maintenance and high performance
- 2-metre (6.5 ft) probe cables for greater flexibility
- Power: 12 VDC (included)
Use and Maintenance
pH meters usually lose performance because of problems with the probe. The two critical parts are:
- 🔹 Sensitive glass bulb: with use, it loses sensitivity and will eventually fail — this is normal for all pH probes.
- 🔹 Reference junction: a small opening that allows comparison between the sample and the reference. If this opening clogs, the probe stops working properly.
✅ How to extend the life of your pH probe
🧴 Storage
- The pH probe must be kept hydrated
- Do not store in tap water or deionised water, as this damages sensitivity. Ideally, store it with storage solution or calibration buffer, inside
- the probe cap, tightly closed and upright
🧼 Cleaning
- Sample residues can affect the bulb and clog the junction, especially if they contain organic material
- It is recommended to soak the probe regularly in cleaning solution
⚖️ Calibration
- pH sensors become less sensitive over time
- Calibrate regularly to maintain accuracy
- Always calibrate after cleaning or long periods of storage
