pH 600 meter

Operation

  • Don't be surprised to see white crystals around the head of the meter. This is normal for a pH electrode. These salts will dissolve in water
  • Remove the black cap and switch on the meter
  • Immerse up to the limit mark and wait for the reading to stabilise
  • After use, rinse the electrode in water to keep it clean.
  • Preserve the electrode by putting a few drops of MA9015 storage liquid or pH 7.0 calibration liquid in the cap.
  • Always replace the cap after use.
  • DO NOT USE distilled or deionised water for storage.
  • Large differences in readings (± 0.5 pH) can occur due to the need for calibration, a dry electrode or weak batteries

Calibration

  • The calibration procedure is simple and quick
  • Immerse up to the limit mark in pH 7.01 calibration liquid (M10007)
  • Wait for the reading to stabilise and adjust to pH 7.0 with the screwdriver on the screw at the back.
  • The meter is calibrated.
  • ALWAYS USE fresh calibration solutions and never reuse them.

CD611 EC meter

  • Immerse up to the limit mark and wait for the reading to stabilise.
  • The meter automatically compensates for temperature variations.
  • After use, rinse the electrode in water to keep it clean.
  • The value shown on the screen must be multiplied by 100 to give a direct reading in mS/cm.

Calibration
